Who are they, exactly?

A quick guide to Characters

Who are they? What's the deal with their funny clothes? Why are they so silly? What is their story? Have you stumbled across this comic and thought: "I wish there were character bios, so I could understand what was happening a little better."

Never fear! The answers to these questions, and more, will be coming in a quick scroll down the page my friends!

He's mean, he's not green, but if you mess with him, you'll probably regret it. The Norse god of Fire and Trickery isn't in a very good mood these days, something about being beaten, tortured and treated like dirt for the past couple hundred years by other Gods. His age is... unknown. His blood type... He hasn't bothered to check. His star sign might be Leo, but he hasn't decided yet. He's nasty and prickly, and is likened to a very out of control cactus that not only has seven inch long spikes, but also shoots acid. He's a con artist, he's an intellectual, he'd be branded a serial killer if the police had found the "bodies" yet. He drinks coffee mixed with strong spirits because he can only go through life if its in a faint on going blur, he smokes if he feels that the urge to kill civilians get's too strong, he reads newspapers and books and listens to Blue Oyster Cult.

Despite all of this, he's a fun loving guy (no seriously, stop laughing, he'll kill us all if you laugh) he tells jokes, and he's rather witty and intellegent. He was the first of Bethany's two imaginary friends, and the most influencial. He started off as a half dreamed character from a 7 year old Bethany. She dreamed about some strange man, swearing, drinking a glass of whisky, in a heavy black cloak with fur, complaining about modern life (possibly)

Since then, he has been a major part of Bethany's life.

Freyr is the Norse God of Fertility, Summer, happy things and harvesting. So in other words, he's a major pussy who dances around with a garland of flowers in summer (Possibly). Freyr is a kindly fellow, with a bit of an assertivness problem. He's a pretty boy, though the thought of admitting such a thing would never cross his mind. He's a fatherly/brotherly/authority figure in Bethany's world, and enjoys baking. In fact, he's Bake Master Champion of the Universe, but don't tell him that, because he only bakes when he's upset. Which is very often. Freyr has been described as a marshmallow, white, fluffy, and often found in the confectionary isle of your local supermarket.

He is the most recent addition to Bethany's miriad of imaginary friends. He was created after Bethany saw a guy on on the street with curly blond hair and thought to herself: "There should really be more curly haired blond men in the world."

Bethany is the only real cast member of Gods Almighty, that is, she physically exists and goes to school. She's a real person, in fact, so real, she's writing her own biography now in third person! EEGADS. She is 19 years old, but only has the mental maturity of a 12 year old. She talks to herself loudly no matter what time of the day, she whole heartedly believed that Freddie Mercury could not possibly be gay because she liked him in year 7, and she is, in her spare time, a visual artist. She's basically a 5"2 blonde midget, whose favourite things to do are draw comics, draw artworks, write stuff and forget that she has exams in only a few days.

Bethany has lived all her life in Australia, and has an obsession with Norse Mythology and moustaches, and sometimes both at the same time.

Bethany is a character as well as creator of Gods Almighty. She often writres in third person because its super fun.

Poo

This is Bethany's cat, her cat called Poo. Poo is a Poo as well as a cat, and does whatever cats normally do, including rolling around your feet when you are walking, meowing loudly in the middle of the night, rubbing her face on various shoes left unattended, and of course, bringing dead animals into the house because she can.

Gullinbursti

OINK. This is Freyr's magical pet boar, Gullinbursti (Called Gullin for short). He's a European wild boar and is a tad like a magical dog. He likes truffles and can fly on magical rainbows. WHAT OF IT?

Woody

Woody is Bethany's black New Forest Pony. He's fat and has a cast iron stomach and an extrodinary ability to eat anything and everything that you offer him, including fingers and thumbs and small children.
